My name is Sontina Curry and I am the Ministry Assistant at Jessamine Christian Church in Nicholasville, Kentucky. We have been using One Call Now for over almost two years now and it has saved not just be me, but other Ministry Team Leaders countless hours making individual calls. One example would be notifying members of cancelled services during inclement weather. We have utilized this several times and members say it was helpful and it saved them from calling us to find out if services had been cancelled. Another example would be when we have a special event such as a church-wide dinner, concert, or children's program and we set up the recorded message to go out 2-3 days beforehand reminding our members of the event. The benefit is a higher turn out to the event versus not using One Call Now and the people thankful for keeping them in the loop with the reminder call. One last example would be when we use One Call Now to send a message to a specific subgroup regarding meeting changes, something for them to bring to the meeting, or simply a reminder call. I know our Ministers enjoy using the One Call Now service and we have had several members tell us how much they enjoy receiving the messages.

"Every year our middle school ministry hosts a summer kick-off LUAU at a local swim club. Our church started using One Call Now this year, so we decided to be creative and use the service for our event promotion. Instead of just giving the regular information we recorded the call using a fun surfer voice and lingo and threw a little "Surfin" music in the background. "I have used various systems to make announcements for synagogues where I have been the executive director. Basically at my current synagogue we call over 800 names to let them know when a member has died, where and when the funeral will take place. We also call to let them know of upcoming events, elections, meetings. By far, this system is THE BEST, FASTEST, USER FRIENDLY AND DEFINITELY TROUBLE FREE. "I can only begin to tell you how popular this service is with our team parents! We have already had numerous situations where we needed to contact everyone due to weather conditions or changes in the schedule (pretty normal spring issues), but the most impressive came with a field conflict. The Vipers were double booked with another No. KY team and the field director was called for clarification (Derek Brills - former Cincy Bengal). Mr. Brills settled the issue to the satisfaction of all parties by allowing our team to relocate to another local baseball field under his direction. I was scrambling for the phone number of our head coach who was out of town for a business meeting. Mr. Helmer, the One Call Now Group Leader, redirected our parents to the new location before many of them even arrived to the field of dispute, saving the practice time and a bunch of frustration for new players and their parents. I imagine that you receive messages like this one with great frequency due to the expedience and reliable nature of your service. "I discovered One Call Now several years ago when I started coaching a girls summer fastpitch tournament team. During the weekend tournaments the team has their first game scheduled and all games after that point are determined by the previous games status. If the team wins you play again at one time on a certain field and if you lose you play again at a different time and field. Games are continuously happening on eight to ten different fields from Friday evening to Sunday evening. It is almost impossible to keep up with the families of 12 players and keep them informed on game times and fields. With the One Call Now service I was able to program each families home phone number and their cell phone numbers into the database. Using my cell phone I am able to keep each and every family completely informed at all times so that our teams are on the fields and ready to go at the appropriate times. Time between games is used to go over the previous game, come up with new game plans, eat and rest. The One Call Now service makes it possible to use the time to do this and not run around a complex trying to locate and give information to 12 families. One Call Now is a service that has made the coaching jobs much more efficient and enjoyable. Thank you for this remarkable service!!!"

"I run a board for a non-profit organization with many different types of people, some read email and some do not very often. Basically, attendance at our meetings and events is optional but requested and I have noticed that if I send out a phone message I have more than doubled our attendance at these get togethers. "I am personnel manager for an industrial construction company. We are always in need of different crafts. I send message to all my workers, and I can fill the positions within 15 minutes. Since I am a one man show, I cannot call more than 15 people per hour along with regular phone calls and interviews. For example, if I need a crane operator, I print a list of who has called and checked in to the out of work list in the last 3 months. I set up a group (temporary), go in and highlight the names off of the master roster, and send the message. Then I will go back and delete that temporary group. Now that I have 25 groups, I can go in and set up each of the crafts that I need."

Before we started using One Call Now, last minute changes or announcements to parents or staff used to take me hours. I would have to dial 1 parent at a time with updates and cancellations, and when the line was busy, I would have to remember to call back later. Now that we use One Call Now, I can record 1 message and send it to everyone at once.

"One Call Now has been an outstanding tool for the Knights of Columbus of Blessed Sacrament Parish in San Antonio. Before we had this system we were using a phone tree and email to contact each of the members. The phone tree broke down every single time. There were always a few of the guys that make no calls and meeting attendance was dismal. Email breaks down almost as much because email addresses change constantly. We now use One Call Now to remind the Knights of Columbus of their meeting times, events, and fundraisers. WOW, what a difference this system has been for us. We now get great attendance at our functions and everyone loves and relies on the calls to keep them informed. We use the menu system to divide duties, get a headcount and to clean up the roster.
